I am a Registered Nurse, Structural Integrator and Movement Therapist certified by the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Bolder, Colorado.
I enjoy working with my clients to make positive physical and emotional changes in their lives. With restrictions in the “fascia” or connective tissue of their bodies released, my clients regain the flexibility and upright posture that may have been lost due to the cumulative effects of injury, overuse, and repetitive stress. I use gravity as the change agent to balance the body and promote smoother movement. Focusing on structural integration, improved posture, and ease of movement, is what makes Rolfing different from massage and other forms of bodywork.
I have been involved in therapeutic bodywork since I was a student nurse in 1975. In Rolfing, I found a way to bring together my 30 years of education and experience, for the benefit of my clients. I am nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB) by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in McLean, VA. I have additional certifications in Orthopedic Massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Seated Massage, and Sports Massage.
I am a member for the following professional associations:
The Rolf® Institute of Structural Integration, Boulder, Colorado
The International Association of Structural Integrators, Missoula, Montana
The Guild for Structural Integration, Boulder, Colorado
The Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), Evergreen, Clorado
